Lisa Cabral is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)

Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from California State University San Bernardino and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Trauma from Grand Canyon University. She is currently completing her EMDR certification to incorporate additional trauma-focused therapeutic techniques into her practice. With experience working on the helpline for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and over 700 hours of client-centered therapeutic experience, Lisa is dedicated to equipping clients with evidence-based coping skills and improving their emotional and behavioral regulation. Her approach integrates psychoanalytic, narrative, cognitive-behavioral, and art therapy methods to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. Lisa is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment where clients can engage in a partnership for growth and change. She believes that every day offers an opportunity to discover new hope.
