Monica Galvez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), fluent in Spanish and English.
She has been working with children and families in California for 15 years and loves working with children to help them reach their goals for growth and healing. In the past, she has provided therapy in schools and understands the challenges children face both socially and emotionally. She provides a therapeutic intervention to develop coping skills, social skills, or executive functioning skills that are critical for development. If you have a child who is struggling, she would be honored to help him/her/them by determining any potential impairments that may be adversely impacting his/her/their coping and learning to provide direct intervention help.
Do you wonder how you can help your child? Do you feel as though your child could benefit from additional support? In general, if your child is dealing with extreme emotions like sadness, anger, stress and worry, low self-esteem, or grief, a mental health professional can help. You do not have to figure this out on your own. We are here to help.
Monica sees children ages 0-12 in the Riverside Office and through Telehealth.
